Where is Leather Bodrum?
We are on Atatürk Boulevard in Konacık, Bodrum (48400 Muğla). You will find directions on our Contacts page.
What are your opening hours?
The store is open every day from 09:00 to 19:00.
Is Leather Bodrum part of BEST Leather and Fur?
Yes. Leather Bodrum is the Bodrum store of BEST Leather and Fur, the Istanbul house that has been making leather and fur since 1996. You can read the full story on our About Us page.
Do I need an appointment?
Not to visit. Come in whenever we are open, take your time and try things on. An appointment is only needed for a made to order fitting, so that a tailor is ready for you.

What can I buy at the store?
Leather jackets, coats, vests, trousers and skirts for women and men, along with handbags, backpacks, wallets, belts and fine fur. See the full range on our Leather Store page.
Where does your leather come from?
From our own tannery. Premium skins are processed there and then cut and finished at the BEST factory, so design, craft and finish stay under one roof.
Which furs do you work with?
Chinchilla, sable, fox, mink and rex, each selected with great care.
Do you have leather and fur for men?
Yes. The collection includes leather jackets and coats for men, and fur is not only for women: bombers with fur, fur collars and lapels and shearling aviator jackets are all part of men’s fashion today.
Which leather is best for a jacket?
It depends on how you want it to feel. Lambskin is the softest and lightest. Cowhide is thicker and the most hard-wearing. Goat leather sits between the two, supple but tough. Try each one on in store and the difference is clear at once.
Made to Order
A piece cut to your own measurements.
Can you make a piece to my measurements?
Yes. With our made to order service our tailors cut the piece to your individual measurements. Details are on the Workshop page.
How do I order a made to order piece?
Contact the store and book a fitting. At the fitting you choose your material, color and details, and our tailors take your measurements. Your piece is then made for you alone.
What can I choose myself?
The leather or fur, the color from a wide range, and the finishes and details of the piece.
Choosing and Caring for Leather
How to judge quality and make it last.
How do I recognize a good leather garment?
Check five things: the leather should be soft, supple and even in color; the stitching even and tight; the fit comfortable; the lining smooth and strong; and the piece should come with clear care advice. Our buying guide explains each one.
How should I care for my leather jacket?
Leather needs regular care: condition it, clean it gently and protect it from moisture and direct sunlight. Ask our team when you buy and they will tell you what suits your particular piece.
